Catarina Labrecque graduated from Capilano University in 2011 with a diploma as a
Rehabilitation Assistant (OTA/PTA/SLPA). Since then, she has gained extensive experience
working in various settings, including acute care and private practice within the community.
Catarina has nurtured a strong passion for neurology and the brain since her time at Capilano.
Early in her career, she focused on stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, later expanding her
expertise to neurodiversity, autism, and sensory processing and regulation.
As a member of the Kind Minds team, Catarina embraces a client-centered, collaborative, and
evidence-based approach to care. She is deeply committed to continuing education, staying
updated with evolving practices to best serve her clients and community. Additionally, she is a
